At Spotify, we believe that music, podcasts, and culture move the world—and we’re looking for a Social Marketing Manager to help craft the way Spotify shows up in those cultural conversations in Korea.
In this role, you’ll be at the heart of crafting significant connections between Spotify and Korean audiences through smart, strategic, and standout social storytelling. You’ll develop and implement social-first campaigns, narratives and social-native contents that live beyond the feed—creating moments that fuel conversation, shift perception, and drive fandom across our owned and operated channels.

What You'll Do

    • Help make Spotify the go-to destination for music fans and audio listeners in Korea
    • Lead and implement a comprehensive social marketing strategy for artist releases and priority campaigns, with a focus on driving audience growth for Spotify on and off platform in Korea
    • Develop content marketing initiatives in Korea, including always-on contents, social-native contents and editorial partnership content promotions
    • Lead always-on content marketing programs that engage audiences and encourage repeat visits to Spotify on and off platform
    • Work closely with cross-functional Spotify teams locally and across the globe
    • Work closely and lead external partners (creative, media, and social agencies)
    • Help establish Spotify as the top tier destination for music fans and audio listeners in Korea
    • Lead and implement a comprehensive social marketing strategy for artist and podcast releases, as well as priority campaigns, focused on driving audience growth both on and off the Spotify platform in Korea
    • Orchestrate content marketing initiatives tailored to Korean audiences, including always-on social content, snackable content productions, platform-native creative, and editorial partnership activations
    • Your strong expertise, understanding, and instincts for Korean culture and trends will help develop, create, and produce best-in-class marketing content that resonates with local audiences.
    • Build and maintain a social media presence that fans love to follow, engage with, and share
    • Collaborate closely with cross-functional Spotify teams, both locally and across global markets
    • Work closely and lead external partners (creative, media, and social agencies
    • Help establish Spotify as the top tier destination for music fans and audio listeners in Korea

Who You Are

    • You have a minimum of 7+ years working experience in content marketing (including social media) across strategy and creative in Korea
    • Experience working for brands, especially in music or entertainment industry in local Korea market
    • Confident in planning and crafting strategies for social media and content marketing campaigns with the extension across other media platforms with social-native and social-first mentality
    • Naturally plugged into internet culture — always on the pulse of trends, memes, and the cultural moments that get people talking
    • Broader marketing experience across all marketing & media channels, including influencers is a plus
    • Strong analytical skills and experience in working with ad-tech tools is a plus
    • Expert at establishing relationships with internal and external collaborators
    • You are a self-learner, become comfortable with constantly evolving environments and challenging goals
    • You are well organised, and dedicated, with the ability to plan and deliver and pay outstanding attention to detail
    • You are adept at analyzing and interpreting data and using it to set goals
    • Native in Korean and fluent in English

Where You'll Be

    • You will be based out of our Seoul, South Korea office
    • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in-person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home
