Job Title: Data Engineer

                     

DUTIES: Build large-scale batch and real-time data pipelines using modern data processing frameworks. Help implement optimization, testing, tooling, validation and anomaly detection to improve data quality. Apply best practices in continuous integration and delivery. Collaborate with other software engineers, data engineers, machine learning experts, data scientists and stakeholders. Prototype new approaches and productionize solutions at scale for our hundreds of millions of active users. Work in multi-functional agile teams to continuously experiment, iterate and deliver on new product objectives. *Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed in any location in the U.S.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have two (2) years of experience with: designing, developing, scaling and operating distributed systems with high-volume heterogeneous data; data modeling, data access, and data storage techniques; data engineering in Java and Scala programming; utilizing Python programming; optimizing, testing, and troubleshooting data pipelines; cloud-native development and modern CI/CD practices; and Software Engineering including System Design, Data structures, and Algorithms.

SALARY:  $143,499 to $215,249/ year
