We’re looking for an enthusiastic student to join our Treasury team in Stockholm. Treasury functions as Spotify's internal bank and our mission is to be the financial engine that enables Spotify to drive faster than anyone else. We work to secure financial flexibility through funding, cash management, financial risk management, investments, and more. We also ensure that the Spotify group is accurately insured for its activities.
You will be working closely with the team and supporting our bank relationships, driving your own project. This is a phenomenal way to get a foot in and gain insights into the Cash management, Treasury Systems and Treasury world!
What you'll do
- We will help you design your very own treasury project! (we have some ideas)
- Helping out and handling our bank relationships
- Support with account opening and closing and updating bank signatories
- Collaborate with the accounting team and other treasury staff to open, maintain, and close bank accounts and update bank signatories
- Drive application-related initiatives such as supporting process improvements
- Work with Back office and treasury related administration
- Improve and write documentation
- Work from our amazing office in Stockholm on top of Gallerian
- Perform other tasks or special projects as needed
Who you are
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Science, Industrial Engineering or a related field of study.
- You have an interest in Banking and Finance and you have experience with working with financial modeling
- Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- You are currently in your final or penultimate year of studies
- You currently have valid work authorization to work in the country in which this role is based that will extend from June to August 2023
