Job Title: Engineering Manager II

 

DUTIES: Mentor, coach, develop and recruit software engineers. Work collaboratively with a product lead to define success metrics and roadmaps for subordinate team and oversee the team’s delivery of product features. Own subordinate team’s technical strategy and roadmap and influence the technical design and architecture of our internal software stack. Provide managerial guidance to ensure team is developing scalable and reliable systems. Lead other software engineering efforts that meet and adapt to Spotify’s needs. Drive multi-department initiatives to launch new products. *Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. 10% travel to domestic and international locations.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a closely related field and four (4) years of experience in Software Development or a related position. Must have four (4) years of experience with: Software Development; iOS Software Development at Scale; Android Software Development at Scale; Multi-team Project Management; Play Store and App Store Distribution; and Coordinate Product Releases at Scale.

SALARY:  $255,944 to $274,443 / year
