Spotify is seeking an Experiential & Content Production Associate to join our Global Experiential & Content Production helping to deliver events across our co-branded experiences workstreams in support of Spotify AUX and the wider GECP teams. This live production expert and producer we seek will build off-platform experiences that connect creators and artists and/or brands with their fans globally, while also bringing Spotify to life on the live stage and/or through activations.
You will become familiar with Spotify and the GECP team's business priorities and how they ladder up to Spotify AUX and wider company objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop creative executions that amplify our platform and bring it to life in a physical or digital way. Above all, your work will impact the way the world experiences music and audio.
This position will report into the Global Associate Director, Experiential & Content Production and is a full-time position.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with the team’s Global Associate Director and other team members to help effectively manage priority projects and both the day-to-day and long-term operations of the AUX and support the wider GECP team as required
- Coordinate event and/or content logistics across our portfolio of experiences. Responsibilities may include, managing Catering / F&B Orders, Travel and Entertainment bookings, onsite artist management, Artist briefings, managing vendor payments and contracts
- Act as the coordinator to the AUX Lead and support AUX/GECP team administrative needs; this may include preparing materials for important meetings, drafting communications, assembling updates, creating of presentations or pitch decks, creating team briefs, etc.
- Project manage key initiatives for major productions that ladder up to team objectives, collaborating extensively across the business, and external partners
- Support the AUX Coordinator in managing a calendar of deliverables and initiatives and facilitate regular team touchpoints, ensuring alignment and accountability
- Organize and facilitate team meetings, as well as cross-functional project team meetings, kick-offs, post-mortems, and meetings with leadership
- Assist in management of monthly reporting and tracking of AUX production budgets, and assist in our invoicing process and supplier payments, supplier onboarding, statements of work, and contracts, collaborating closely with GECP producers, our FP&A and Legal partners
- Assist the planning, production, and execution of our live events, with specific attention to the unique objectives of each initiative (for both content and experiential)
- Directly manage and support a team of vendors and freelancers across multiple executions
- Support in the management of project timelines, ensure key deadlines are being met, and facilitate leadership reviews, brainstorms, and approval processes
- Build on our global rolodex of vendors and partners to help bring out visions
- Support onsite needs of events in pre-production and production as directed
Who You Are
- You have 3+ years of direct experience in event, content, and concert show production
- You have strong understanding of the pace, ways of working, and needs of the production industry
- You understand the unique and detailed oriented needs of client management
- You have experience managing a busy calendar, arranging meetings and managing travel
- You have previous experience advancing and managing client, exec and/or talent hospitality needs
- You are used to researching and working directly with vendors to manage onboarding, organize schedules, and all production needs
- You are a proactive problem solver – simply put, you get things done fast and well and are a masterful prioritizer
- You thrive in a fast paced environment and create clarity and focus amidst chaos and ambiguity
- You are the most organized person you know – if you do not find joy in logistics, this role is not for you
- You are a master in excel, working in google suite, and most importantly preparing power point/google slides presentations
- You are a critical, strategic and tactical thinker with the ability to visualize and realize intricately planned objectives
- You have strong budget management skills able to assist in reconciliation and profitability tracking
- You have experience building strong relationships with external and internal partners and have top notch stakeholder management skills
- You are an expert communicator – you write well and have a knack for synthesizing and communicating information to different level of stakeholders
- You aren’t afraid to jump in on all kinds of challenges – there is no work too big or too small
- You are a team player who can work autonomously while thinking globally and executing locally
- You are able to travel domestically and internationally
Where You'll Be
- This role is based in NYC
- We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 3 times per week.
The United States base range for this position is $71,116 - 101,594, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. This range encompasses multiple levels. Leveling is determined during the interview process. Placement in a level depends on relevant work history and interview performance. These ranges may be modified in the future.
