Job title: Web Engineer
DUTIES: Design, develop, document and maintain web-based applications using modern technologies and frameworks (JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Next.js). Design, develop and maintain data-driven visualizations and interactive charts that provide insights to customers in the podcast publishing and advertising space. Execute and deliver impactful updates to web applications to improve workflows for our podcast publishers and advertisers. Build and maintain front-end component libraries by collaborating with a multi-functional team of engineers, designers, writers, and product managers. Collaborate within an Agile Scrum team, participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, actively contributing to the team's success. Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address complex problems in real-time and keep applications operational and highly available. *Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed in any location in the U.S.
SALARY: $179,982 to $215,249 / year
WORK SCHEDULE: 9am to 5pm, 40 hours a week. (Monday – Friday)
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience in job offered, software engineering or in a related role OR Master’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in job offered, software engineering or in a related role. Must have five (5) years (or 3 years with a Master’s degree) of experience with: Javascript, Typescript; ReactJS, NodeJS; HTML, CSS; and JS Design Patterns, Data Structures, Web Architecture.
