Our Software & Technology teams build scalable, reliable, and cutting-edge software to propel Spreetail to being a top ecommerce company. We are seeking motivated individuals who are passionate about learning new technologies and building software to build a monster ecommerce company. How you will achieve success:
- Build hands-on expertise in modern web and API development by designing scalable, high-performance solutions backed by robust database systems. Create reusable components, libraries, and tools that elevate not just your team but the entire Engineering org.
- Design, deploy, and maintain full-stack applications on mostly AWS for our Facility Center users, utilizing best practices for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to turn ambiguous problems into thoughtful, high-quality software solutions. Optimize APIs and backend logic for reliability and speed at scale. Champion clean, maintainable code and drive quality through robust test automation leveraging both conventional testing strategies and AI tools.
- Continuously refine code quality, performance, and developer experience through automation, code reviews, and experimentation. Stay curious with proactive research, testing, and advocating for emerging technologies and methodologies that keep us ahead of the curve.
- Contribute to a culture of collaboration through knowledge sharing, pair programming, and open discussion. Engage deeply in a team that values craftsmanship, candor, and continuous improvement.
What experiences will help you in this role:
- 2–5 years of experience in object-oriented programming using languages like C#, .NET, Java, or similar, and a solid foundation in SQL.
- 1+ year of experience with Front-end/UX/UI web development (e.g., React, JavaScript) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- A strong growth mindset, you welcome feedback and see it as a path to better code, stronger teams, and smarter solutions.
- Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work autonomously or as a collaborative team member.
- Passion for mentoring and being mentored, you help raise the bar for those around you.
- Clear and proactive communicator with accountability and a high sense of ownership in fast-moving, collaborative Agile teams.
- Bonus points for experience with Jira, CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, AI, Kotlin, Android, or Agile methodologies.
$91,000 - $120,000 a year
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $91,000/year to $120,000/year. Pay is based on a number of factors including geographic market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Spreetail is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
