Spreetail is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in either Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to drive efficiencies while analyzing monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals. As a Sr. Accountant, you will:
- Analyze monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals.
- Execute advanced accounting processes including complex Balance Sheet reconciliations, GAAP, research and external audit interaction.
- Lead task and provide team guidance in am ambiguous and dynamic business environment to meet company, department, and team metrics.
- Define business processes and execute recommended improvements that withstand the variability inherent to the business.
- Drive issue resolution cross-functionally through effective communication to partners and leadership.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA and/or graduate degree preferred).
- 2-5+ years in accounting, audit or related field.
- A strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated significant initiative, tenacity, and leadership in prior job.
