Spreetail is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in either Omaha or Lincoln, Nebraska. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally to drive efficiencies while analyzing monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals. As a Sr. Accountant, you will:

    • Analyze monthly financial statement accounts against prior month and prior year actuals.
    • Execute advanced accounting processes including complex Balance Sheet reconciliations, GAAP, research and external audit interaction.
    • Lead task and provide team guidance in am ambiguous and dynamic business environment to meet company, department, and team metrics.
    • Define business processes and execute recommended improvements that withstand the variability inherent to the business.
    • Drive issue resolution cross-functionally through effective communication to partners and leadership.

Who you are:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA and/or graduate degree preferred).
    • 2-5+ years in accounting, audit or related field.
    • A strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
    • Advanced skill set in Microsoft Excel.
    • Demonstrated significant initiative, tenacity, and leadership in prior job.
