In this role, you will be responsible for executing ERP activities, in order to ensure and deliver on the Department’s mandate and that will contribute to the delivery of short and mid-term strategic objectives within set KPIs, agreed budgets and adopted policies and procedures.

 

 

 

Supporting in defining, optimizing, and integrating effective business processes on Oracle

 

Analyzing, designing, testing, implementing, and providing post implementation support utilizing prescribed software design lifecycle techniques and system documentation techniques (OUM)

 

Managing ERP installations/ integrations/ upgrades, working closely with 3rd party application providers to ensure successful implementation with minimal business disruption

 

Conducting diagnostic tests to detect unidentified issues with Oracle and ensure timely resolution of the same

 

Providing 1st level troubleshooting support in resolving end-user issues with Oracle

 

Organizing tasks and implement policies, processes, procedures, forms and tools

 

Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices taking into account leading practices

 

Escalating problems to ensure case/issue is closed efficiently and in a timely manner

 

Supporting peers across the organization when needed to perform their duties

 

Performing any other activities as and when required

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or equivalent

At least 3 years’ experience in leading technical projects
