We're looking for a Customer facing, Product Engineer to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams & clients to gather requirements and define project goals.
- Design and architect scalable and efficient software solutions with a responsive UI
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Review code contributed by team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues reported by QA or end-users.
- Research and evaluate new technologies and tools to improve development processes.
- Mentor junior developers and share knowledge through code reviews, pair programming, and tech talks.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and progress to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve existing systems and processes to enhance performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in software development methodologies and technologies.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend engineering.
- Proficiency in a variety of frontend languages & frameworks, as well as with different styles of API's
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Lean, or Kanban.
- Ability to maintain and enhance inherited code with best coding practices.
- Experience with Google Cloud services and GitHub.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

$120,000 - $200,000 a year
Compensation is salary + meaningful equity in an early stage venture backed startup commensurate with level of experience.
