Stand Together Fellowships is dedicated to helping individuals make a greater social impact through fulfilling careers. Our educational programs including the Koch Internship Program and Koch Associate Program are an opportunity for people of diverse backgrounds and perspectives who are motivated to help others improve their lives and bring people together to tackle some of the biggest challenges facing our society. Ideal candidates are early to mid-career professionals who share a passion for the Stand Together Community’s vision and values, are located in the United States, and authorized to work in the United States. Educational Program Referral Reward Rules (“Program”)
1. The purpose of the Program is to support Stand Together Fellowships (“ST Fellowships”) mission as a 501(c)(3) educational organization, by finding the best possible individuals for ST Fellowships’ educational programs.
2. Individuals Eligible to be Qualified Referrers. A “Qualified Referrer” is an individual who is eligible to make referrals and receive referral rewards through the Program. The following individuals Qualified Referrers:
· ST Fellowships Alumni. ST Fellowships alumni (“Alumnus(i)”) are Qualified Referrers unless they are otherwise ineligible as stated in Section 2(b). Alumni include individuals who have participated in ST Fellowships’ current educational programs and the predecessors and successors of those programs (e.g., KAP, L@W®, KIP, KFP) (collectively, the “Educational Programs”).
· Non-ST Fellowships Alumni Approved by ST Fellowships. ST Fellowships has the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to approve or disqualify any individual or group of individuals (e.g., all of the employees of another 501(c)(3) organization) as Qualified Referrers.
Individuals Ineligible to be Qualified Referrers. The following individuals are ineligible to be Qualified Referrers:
· Employees of ST Fellowships or Stand Together Trust. Any individual who is an employee of ST Fellowships or Stand Together Trust at the time of the referral is not a Qualified Referrer.
· Koch Industries, Inc. and Affiliated Organization Employees. Any individual who is an employee of Koch Industries, Inc. or any of its affiliates at the time of the referral not a Qualified Referrer.
· Employees of Stand Together community organizations. Any individual who is an employee of any organization supported by Stand Together human resource capability (including the list below) at the time of the referral is not a Qualified Referrer:

· Americans for Prosperity Foundation
· Charles Koch Foundation
· Empowered
· John Quincy Adams Society
· MBM Center, Inc.
· Stand Together Chamber of Commerce, Inc.
· Stand Together Communications
· Stand Together Foundation
· Stand Together Trust
· Stand Together Ventures Lab
· VELA Education Fund
· Yes Every Kid., Inc.
· Other Individuals. ST Fellowships has the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to disqualify any individual as a Qualified Referrer to comply with the law, for administrative purposes, or for any other reason.
3. Qualified Candidates. Qualified Referrers will receive a reward only for referring a “Qualified Candidate.” A Qualified Candidate is an individual who is admitted to and participates in an Educational Program; and (a) has never participated in an Educational Program; (b) has never applied for an Educational Program; and (c) has never been employed by ST Fellowships or any by Stand Together’s human resource capability.
4. Referral Process and Rewards. ST Fellowships will provide a referral reward to a Qualified Referrer for referring a Qualified Candidate as follows:
· Referral Process. To receive a referral reward a Qualified Referrer must refer a Qualified Candidate by completing this form no more than six months before but no more than three days after the Qualified Candidate’s application is submitted.
· Referral Reward. ST Fellowships will provide the first Qualified Referrer for a Qualified Candidate with referral reward of $500.00 for each Qualified Candidate referred to KAP, and $200.00 for each Qualified Candidate referred to KIP.
· No More than One Qualified Referrer. ST Fellowships will not provide a referral reward to additional Qualified Referrers for each Qualified Candidate. Only the first Qualified Referrer for a Qualified Candidate will be eligible to receive a referral reward.
5. Taxes. Qualified Referrers must complete IRS Form W-9 and may be required to complete other necessary forms in order to be paid a referral reward. It is the sole responsibility of the Qualified Referrer to pay all federal, state, and local taxes in connection with any referral reward.
6. Miscellaneous. Qualified Referrers agree that the decisions of ST Fellowships related to this Program are final and binding. ST Fellowships has the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to suspend, cancel, terminate, or modify the Program without advance notice.
