Intern - Robotics Perception

The Perception team is actively hiring for software engineering interns. We’re looking for developers with strong abstract problem solving skills. You’ll write code that goes into our systems within the first week, and take on 1-2 large projects throughout your internship.

You could:
- Build an object tracking system using a camera and/or radar sensor
- Build novel sensor fusion between radar and camera sensors
- Build a lane line map using GPS and cameras and comparing it with google maps
- Add more cameras data to localization and mapping system


    • Pursuing or recently completed a BS, MS, or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field
    • Background in linear algebra, probability, 3D geometry and abstract problem solving skills
    • Experience developing in a Linux environment
    • Ability to write efficient real time algorithms in C++
    • Good communication skills, eager to work in a highly collaborative team

Nice to have or willing to learn

    • Experience working with a real mobile robot
    • Knowledge of robotics concepts and tools (ROS)
