SteerBridge seeks a Service Contract Support Services Specialist to provide critical operational support to the VA Facilities Management team in Aurora, CO. This individual will help develop, coordinate, and oversee essential service contracts that support daily facility operations. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on experience with facility operations and government procurement processes, especially in a healthcare or large-scale campus environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be eligible and able to pass a federal background check and complete requirements for a VA Personal Identity Verification (PIV) badge.
- OSHA 10-hour Construction Safety certification (within the last 5 years).
- Must provide documentation of at least three comparable projects or roles of similar scope and complexity.
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on, multi-disciplinary facility operations and/or construction experience at the level of General Foreman or above.
- Proven ability to manage diverse contract tasks across a broad range of service disciplines in a large-scale operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of government procurement requirements, service contract oversight, and quality assurance.
- Ability to conduct market research, coordinate among various stakeholders, and generate contract-related documentation including scopes of work, cost estimates, sole-source justifications, and inspection reports.
- Familiarity with vendor relations, contractor oversight, and coordination with engineering/facility teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in summarizing technical coordination and contractor performance.
- Conduct market research and outreach to local vendors to assess capabilities to perform required facilities services.
- Develop scopes of work, cost estimates, and support documentation for service contract procurements.
- Coordinate with facilities staff, operational teams, and service vendors to schedule and execute work with minimal disruption to medical center operations.
- Perform on-site oversight of contractor activities including escort duties, quality inspections, and performance evaluations.
- Relay observations and contractor performance summaries to VA Facilities Management Services staff for formal administrative action.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all communications, inspections, and administrative actions related to service contract execution.
- Support efforts that may occur outside of standard business hours, including night and weekend work when necessary.

$140,000 - $155,000 a year
A salary commensurate with experience will be provided.
