We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to support operations and sustainment of the C-130 aircraft. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing data systems that support aircraft maintenance, logistics, performance analysis, and mission readiness. The ideal candidate will have experience in aerospace data systems, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of data governance in a defense environment.

Required
- Must be a US Citizen, Dual Citizen, or Green Card Holder
- Bachelor's Degree plus a minimum of seven (7) years related work experience required.
- Seven (7) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education, for a total of 14 years of relevant experience.
- Willingness and ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Responsibilites
- Architects the data platform blueprint and implements the design, encompassing the relevant data platform components.
- Collaborates with the Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models.
Professional Skills and Qualifications
- Good understanding of AWS Data and storage families.
- 3-5 years in Cloud technology, working with AWS Athena, Glue, S3.
- 2+ years hands on experience in building data pipelines in SQL, Python (preferred).
- Prior experience in migrating data from on premise (Mainframe, DB2, Oracle, SQLDB etc.) to cloud platform.
- Preferred: Experience in optimizing and troubleshooting ETL processes and Data pipelines.
$120,000 - $135,000 a year
A salary commensurate with experience will be offered.
