The Associate Vice President, Information Technology will oversee the planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and security of the company’s information systems, processes, and services to meet current and future needs of the organization.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

    • Recruit, interview, hire, and train management and professional-level staff in the department.
    • Oversee the schedules and responsibilities of management-level staff in the department.
    • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations. 
    • Handle discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy. 

Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Establish and implement IT strategic direction to ensure the technology organization, capabilities, and infrastructure align with company business plans and vision.
    • Collaborate with the executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying guidance and expertise on information processing and systems.
    • Provision professional teams and services for analysis, design, programming, and operations of information, communication, and office automation systems to ensure their integrity, reliability, performance, security, and continuity.
    • Establish and administer the department’s budget.

Required Skills/Abilities:

    • Excellent leadership, prioritization, and organizational skills.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail.
    • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the technology used in the company.
    • Thorough understanding of IS policies and procedures.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Education and Experience:

    • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration required.
    • At least ten years of experience in information systems or related role required, with significant leadership experience preferred.
