Role and Responsibilities

    • Contribute to omnichannel marketing plans for owned, paid, and earned media for a range of Stockpile’s campaigns and marketing objectives, as well as operational needs, including but not limited to producing brand copy, ad copy, email copy, product copy, UX copy, video copy, social media copy, comms copy, FAQ, and short-form and long-form editorial content, such as blog posts and scripts for rich media
    • Ensure a commitment to the expression of brand and voice guidelines, customer experience, editorial excellence, and business objectives while working cross-functionally with team members across the company, such as product and customer care, as well as compliance to meet regulatory standards
    • Help expand the brand guidelines for various types of marketing channels and multi-format creative assets
    • Create, maintain, and champion a style guide to ensure on-platform and off-platform consistency across channels and campaigns
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop content that enhances the product experience across touchpoints across all phases of the customer journey
    • Write persuasive and meaningful copy that empowers our target audiences and customers, carefully considering tone and producing content that's consistent with Stockpile's mission and core values, while targeting key audiences and incorporating value props into all channel messaging
    • Cultivate high content standards for leading with both storytelling and service while supporting the creation of calendars and governance, including best practices to ensure impactful and accurate branded and editorial content
    • Take research and data to craft into brand narratives and creative assets that complement visuals and produced art, working with designers and vendors
    • Navigate a deadline-driven environment with efficiency, flexibility, attention to detail, and ownership of the work
    • Help develop and translate briefs into creative concepts, writing original content that contributes to growing an audience, improving engagement, and increasing conversion.

Qualifications

    • 5 - 10+ years of copywriting and editorial experience
    • BA degree or equivalent relevant experience
    • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative spirit with the ability to work cross-functionally to understand Stockpile's priorities and help translate them into actionable initiatives
    • Proven ability to take projects from concept to completion, prioritizing and delivering against changing priorities, multiple stakeholders, and deadlines
    • Strong critical-thinking skills with proven problem-solving expertise to help drive growth, engagement, and conversion
    • Produces copy and content that meets high editorial standards for storytelling and service while also being on-brand and accurate
    • Experience with or a passion for parenting, lifestyle, and/or beginner-investing content is a plus
