About the role:
To create the most beautiful photo products for our customers daily, our supply chain operations must be in flawless order across all of our production facilities. For our production site near The Hague (Ypenburg) we are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Specialist.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you are responsible for safeguarding and supporting the continuous improvement of our supply chain planning, operations, development and reporting. Your analysis will be the driving factor for maintaining a state-of-art supply chain flow. In addition, you are the point of contact within the Supply Chain team for the ERP system & WMS. Staying connected with all of your colleagues from the Supply Chain team and collaborating cross functionally with key stakeholders of other divisions.

You work together as a team with the Purchasing Manager and the Team Lead of Logistics, all reporting to the Supply Chain Manager.

Your daily adventure at Storio:

    • You drive efficiency initiatives throughout our supply chain, including supporting the purchasing team in their activities, working together with the logistics team on improving processes within our warehouse (inbound and outbound) and contributing to projects where your expertise is required
    • Reporting on the current status of supply chain performance as well as drawing conclusions and owning related improvement projects is among your primary focus points
    • Project-based work is no stranger to you and you liaise with your colleagues within supply chain and other team stakeholders to drive the best path forward for our factory
    • KPIs across supply chain, purchasing and logistics are drawn up with the right level of detail and you support with follow-up analysis wherever required
    • Not only you drive efficiency across your are of expertise but you motivate and encourage others to improve the quality of our processes
    • You are approachable and can navigate situations involving key factory stakeholders
    • Not only your work is benefitting our factory, but it is also contributing group initiatives where our factory is involved
    • You are the go-to person (key user) within the supply chain team for ERP system and WMS, you work engage with accounting and IT teams to foster knowledge to extract and improve the information needed for flawless supply chain operations
    • Maintain SOPs within the Supply Chain team
    • You support the Supply Chain Manager with analysis related to short- and long-term initiatives including analysis related to adherence to our budgets
    • Your support will also be required in owning and executing smaller size business projects aimed at bringing all colleagues within our factory together

    • You will make a significant contribution to the organisation by supporting our overall supply chain operational and strategic efficiency, driving improvement in the way we operate on local level as well as our factory’s connection to the group, by engaging cross functionally with teams across our factory and Storio group with the aim to improve our budget delivery, process improvement, risk management, compliance, data analysis, sustainability, documentation, and teamwork. As a result, you will have a considerable impact on our operational efficiency and overall customer satisfaction.

What you bring to the party:

    • A completed Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain, transport and/or business economics, logistics, or supply chain management
    • Some experience in a supply chain role
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and precise approach
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective cooperation at various levels, both on local and group levels
    • Good experience with Excel/Google Sheets, and some knowledge and experience of an ERP system (Oracle, SAP, etc.) and BI tool (Looker, PowerBI, etc.) is a plus.
    • Sufficient level of English language.
