Join our dynamic team as a Senior Strategic Merchandiser, where you'll be at the forefront of shaping the Storio merchandising Strategy .
As the primary point of contact for all stakeholders, you'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences for our customers. From owning the Merchandising Jira Board to conducting site analytics, your strategic expertise will drive the seamless execution of merchandising tasks across web and app platforms.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Being the point of contact for Storio merchandising for all stakeholders and actively supporting the Storio merchandising channel team
    • Working directly with the Campaign Planning, Product, Commerce teams acting as the merchandising expert to deliver new experiences for our customers
    • As part of the Merchandising Strategy team, acting as a Product Owner for merchandising: Owning the Merchandising Jira Board and ensuring seamless execution of tasks. 
    • Organising the workload of the team by creating and managing tickets on the board and in close collaboration with the team members responsible for execution.
    •  Organising, reviewing and if needed supporting the executional team with creating and implementing discount codes and merchandising campaign setups as well as reporting on them. 
    • Accountable for the timely and accurate execution of merchandising tasks (campaign plan, optimizations, updates, frameworks) across the Web and App platforms
    • Reviewing and providing feedback on the Central plan, briefing the Studio on merchandising setups and inputting tickets and details to the merchandising board. Preparation and support if needed for the executional team to pick up and implement the work.
    • Organising, reviewing and if needed supporting the executional team with creating and implementing optimizations (based on SEO ,Care ,Product or Commercial input), seasonal imagery or content updates as well as reporting on them. 
    • Conducting site analytics and supporting building a reporting framework for measurement. Reporting on merchandising campaigns, testing and optimizations as well as presenting them in bi-weekly commerce alignment meetings, monthly reviews, forecasting and QBRs.
    • Contributing to the merchandising testing & UX research roadmap. Based on these provide strategic recommendations to enhance the customer journey.
    • Investigating, establishing/documenting & overseeing implementation of guidelines and frameworks for merchandising owned real estate and projects.
    • Create guidelines and optimise performance through menu navigation, site banners, and product imagery, campaign landing pages for various channels, use of labels on the site etc.
    • Support establishing guidelines for site consistency  - Content & Imagery (guidelines for imagery, video content, UGC, and reviews)Challenging and testing established frameworks to develop new proposals and improvements
    • Calling out and following up on possible process, collaboration or tech enhancements for Merchandising owned tasks (Campaign, Optimization, Testing, CP etc.)
    • Identify automation opportunities for process efficiency and provide input for platform capability and feature development in close collaboration with the storefront team. 
    • Support in establishing a framework with tech to be able to support creation of campaign landing pages, campaigns setups, NPIs, copy, imagery, labels updates on category & PDPs.
    • Owning Testing & User Research within Merchandising
    • Optimization of processes, addressing defects and identifying improvements in the customer experience

Experience and Attributes we’d like to see:

    • We are seeking a Senior Strategic Merchandiser with a minimum of 5 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, collaborative skills, and a commitment to driving impactful changes in ecommerce. They should have a proven track record of success in merchandising roles, demonstrating leadership capabilities, process optimization skills, and a dedication to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
    • A passion for all things customer - an ability to put yourself into their shoes A highly independent self-starter working style
    • Experience of working across several markets & cultures
    • Strong project management abilities, capable of prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and ensuring seamless execution across cross-functional teams.
    • Proficiency in data analysis and site analytics tools like Adobe Analytics, utilizing insights to drive merchandising strategies and optimizations.
    • Proficiency in Agile methodology and experience in owning and managing Jira boards, utilizing them as a central tool for organizing and executing merchandising tasks.
    • Highly developed stakeholder management skills
    • Track record of developing and implementing merchandising campaigns and optimizations, including discount codes, seasonal updates, and site enhancements.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating strategic recommendations and reporting on campaign performance to stakeholders.
    • Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement, seeking out opportunities to enhance processes and drive efficiency in merchandising operations.
    • Experience in working with different CMS tools such as  contentstack
