About the role:
Join our dynamic team as a Senior Strategic Merchandiser, where you'll shape the Storio merchandising strategy and play an important role in delivering exceptional ecommerce experiences. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize processes, and drive innovative merchandising solutions across web and app platforms.
Your daily adventure at Storio:
- Serve as the main point of contact for Storio merchandising across stakeholders, actively supporting the merchandising channel team.
- Partner with Campaign Planning, Product, and Commerce teams to deliver new and engaging customer experiences.
- Act as a Product Owner for merchandising: Own and manage the Merchandising Jira Board to ensure seamless task execution. Coordinate the team’s workload, including ticket creation, prioritization, and task tracking. Support campaign setups, discount code implementations, and performance reporting. Manage timely and accurate execution of merchandising tasks, including campaign plans, optimizations, and updates across web and app platforms. Review and provide input on central campaign plans, brief the Studio on merchandising setups, and oversee execution preparation.
- Drive strategic recommendations to enhance customer journeys by contributing to the merchandising testing and UX research roadmap. Conduct site analytics, develop a reporting framework, and share insights through regular reviews, forecasting, and strategic meetings. Create and refine merchandising guidelines for areas such as navigation, banners, product imagery, campaign landing pages, and content consistency.
- Identify process automation opportunities and collaborate with tech teams to enhance platform capabilities.

- Shape the future of merchandising by developing and implementing innovative strategies and frameworks.
What you bring to the party:
- 5+ years of experience as a content and merchandising professional, ideally within Ecommerce (Retail preferred).
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to empathize with their journey.
- A self-starter attitude with a proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong project management skills to ensure seamless execution across cross-functional teams.
- Expertise in data analysis and proficiency in tools like Adobe Analytics to inform decision-making.
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodology and managing Jira boards for task coordination.
- A track record of successfully developing and implementing merchandising campaigns, optimizations, and site enhancements.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills to articulate strategies and share performance insights.
- A proactive approach to innovation and continuous improvement in merchandising operations.

- Working across multiple markets and cultural contexts.
- Proficiency in CMS tools such as Contentstack.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience through user research and testing.
- Stakeholder management skills, building strong cross-functional relationships to achieve business goals.
