Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for a data leader who has come through the ranks of a career in product data roles, both technical and now strategic consumer facing ones.

At its simplest, you are the bridge between understanding the power of data, ML and AI to unlock its potential with the technology community and inspire the business community to invest in propositions and capabilities that mean we are better meeting our purpose to Make Joy Unforgettable for millions of people.

You will fundamentally understand that Storio Group’s greatest data strengths simultaneously lie in its ability to manage its customers memories with rock solid integrity, whilst at the same time fuelling the data science to generate the IP which makes it a category leader in personalised photo products.

You will understand how data is improving the efficiency of everyone in the business to make more informed decisions. How data is re-shaping the interactions brands can have with their customers, how it can unlock the potential of data to signal, AI to inspire, and unmet needs to be met in emerging product propositions.  You will have experience building and running enterprise platforms in a product oriented way.

In your earlier career (and maybe still now), you will have written SQL, worked on operational database systems, implemented data warehouses, and understand reporting, MI, governance and data modelling and the importance of MDM, data accuracy, fidelity, and lineage. For the last decade, you will have embraced modern data technology and techniques and will now be a fully rounded data evangelist who is as credible to an operationally focused finance team as they are to a data scientist.

The Team:
Product Purpose & Mission: The Product function shapes the digital (ecommerce and creation) experience for customers. We then guarantee the seamless flow of customer orders, via our network of production sites, to our customers.  We use customer insight and experiments to inform our decisions, and we measure outcomes with data. We ensure customers create photo products they feel proud of, in the way that suits them - easily and quickly, or with everything needed to express their full creativity. And they are delighted when the product arrives.

You will be part of the Product leadership team, working closely with fellow product leaders in other domains. Given the broad reach of data across the whole organisation, your network will also incorporate the broader Senior Leadership team across the business.

What You'll Do:
We are currently defining our next phase of the Storio group Strategy (as we near the end of an integration/migration chapter post-merger, 2 years ago). We are now defining how we transition to growth - with ambitions that this can be to double-digit.  We believe data, AI and ML should be front and centre of that vision - a key enabler for competitive advantage.

The Product Director AI and Data is responsible for the development, build and execution of the Group’s Data strategy.
