How you make your mark:
Your contributions will be pivotal in enhancing our operational efficiency and directly impacting the satisfaction of our customers through a robust and optimized supply chain. By engaging collaboratively with teams across our factory, other production sites, and key stakeholders within the Storio group, you will drive significant improvements in our local operations and strengthen the factory's connection to the wider organization. Your analytical skill and ability to re-engineer existing supply chain processes will lead to tangible advancements in budget delivery, process enhancement, risk management, compliance, data analysis, sustainability efforts, documentation quality, and overall teamwork, making a substantial and valued contribution to Storio's success.

Your daily adventure at Storio:

    • Champion efficiency across our supply chain by collaborating closely with our purchasing and logistics teams to refine warehouse processes and contribute your expertise to diverse operational projects.
    • Take the lead on impactful local and company-wide projects, serving as a key member of our local Project Management Office and connecting directly with Storio’s central operations.
    • Own the full lifecycle of supply chain improvement projects, from initial concept to successful implementation.
    • Become the expert who monitors, analyzes, and reports on supply chain performance, using your insights to drive subsequent efficiency-focused projects.
    • Dive into project-based work, partnering with supply chain and cross-functional teams to propel our factory towards ambitious goals.
    • Develop and meticulously track key performance indicators (KPIs) across supply chain, purchasing, and logistics, providing insightful follow-up analysis.
    • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by inspiring colleagues to elevate process quality and adhere to company standards.
    • Forge strong relationships and skillfully navigate interactions with key stakeholders across the organization.
    • Contribute directly to Storio's overarching strategy by actively participating in both local and group-wide initiatives involving our factory.
    • Become our go-to expert (key user) for ERP and WMS systems within the supply chain team, collaborating with accounting and IT to optimize information flow for seamless operations.
    • Maintain and oversee Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the Supply Chain domain, ensuring clarity and efficiency.
    • Support the Supply Chain Manager with insightful analysis for both short-term and long-term initiatives, including budget management.
    • Spearhead smaller business projects aimed at fostering stronger collaboration and connection among colleagues within the factory.

What you bring to the party:

    • A strong passion for and proven ability in project management.
    • A completed degree in a relevant field such as supply chain, transport, business economics, logistics, or supply chain management.
    • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in a supply chain role, demonstrating a successful track record of managing projects and implementing process improvements.
    • Solid foundational experience within a supply chain environment.
    • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, characterized by a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
    • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork at all levels of the organization.
    • Familiarity with an ERP system (e.g., Oracle), project management tools (e.g., Jira), and a BI tool (e.g., Looker, PowerBI) is a definite plus.
    • Fluency in English.

Extra Kudos for Experience:

    • Proficiency in or some working knowledge of the Dutch language.
    • Previous experience with Oracle systems.
