About the role

The Senior FP&A Analyst - Tech & Product will be in charge of business partnering, financial planning, analysis, and modeling for Tech & Product operations (people & services) for the whole Storio Group.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Partner with the Tech & Product leadership team to produce the annual budget and rolling monthly forecasts;
    • Stay abreast of any risks to budget as they arise, ensuring these are mitigated as far as possible and work through the financial impact of decisions as required;
    • Build relationships with local accounting teams to ensure the monthly figures are materially accurate (prepayments/accruals/capex), and be the source matter expert for Tech & Product costs;
    • Consolidate, review, and produce insightful monthly reporting and variance analysis on the Tech & Product P&L;
    • Take ownership of global CAPEX reporting including producing business cases / capex requests in conjunction with Tech & Product directors;
    • Drive continuous improvements across processes and outputs to best fit the needs of the business;
    • Support the wider FP&A Focus team and provide cover when appropriate.

Impact and Contributions:

    • The role will partner closely with two Group Executive members and their reports, helping build stretching but achievable financial plans and working with the teams to achieve these;
    • This is a significant cost base with 200+ people spread across multiple countries, brands and domains;
    • This role sits within FP&A Commercial and reports into the Senior FP&A Manager for the Focus Team.

Experience and Attributes we’d like to see:

    • Qualified accountant with experience working in a Commercial Finance / FP&A or Finance Business Partnering role, including interacting with senior management;
    • Ability to communicate, and understand Tech teams and Technology leaders;
    • Ability to collate, analyse and present data and information clearly and concisely;
    • Confidence to push back and manage relationships;
    • Strong systems and excel skills.

Nice to Have Experience:

    • Familiarity with IAS 38 in the context of capitalising people costs
    • Experience supporting an R&D tax credit process
