About the role
As the VP of Commercial at Storio Group, you will be the driving force behind our commercial success, holding full responsibility and accountability for our regional General Managers and commercial teams. You will shape our market presence, define and execute commercial strategies, and ensure that we exceed our ambitious annual budget targets. Your role is integral to fostering synergies across the organization, working closely with our centralized marketing and analytical teams.

Primary Responsibilities

    • Develop the competitive market positioning and the overarching commercial strategy for Storio group as well as the market-specific positioning that informs our regional commercial strategies
    • Manage marketing budget allocation in collaboration with Marketing Centers of Excellence (CoEs) and Performance and Customer Analytics teams.
    • Lead cross-functional execution to deliver measurable progress and optimize collaboration between local markets and central functions following OKR frameworks.
    • Further develop our understanding of local market dynamics, trends, and customer behaviors, driving increased customer satisfaction (NPS) and financial performance.
    • Be the customer expert and the champion for the commercial customer experience in each market, and proactively anticipate customer needs
    • Guide the commercial team in developing, testing, and scaling local marketing initiatives in partnership with our Marketing CoEs and Analytics.
    • Manage the P&L for commercial activities, overseeing sales and marketing spend efficiency, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI management.
    • Promote a culture of curiosity and analytical thinking, foster fast and data-driven decision-making to drive innovation and value creation
    • Lead and mentor a team of General Managers and their teams, focusing on commercial success and sustainable growth.
    • Foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement across the commercial team, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
    • Act as a role model of accountability and ownership, encouraging these values across your teams.
    • Collaborate closely with Marketing Centers of Excellence in the effective execution of the local commercial strategies.
    • Regularly engage with regional leaders and teams, fostering unity and collaborative success across our European footprint.

Experience and Attributes we'd like to see

    • 12+ years experience in commercial or digital marketing leadership roles, preferably in high-growth eCommerce environments.
    • Demonstrated success in international, pan-European settings with cross-functional teams.
    • Proficient in English and at least one additional European language, with a preference for French, German, or Spanish.
    • Strategic thinker with experience in applying OKR frameworks and conducting M&A and business integration activities.
    • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategies that enhance revenue, profitability, and market share.
    • Flexibility for regular travel to the different hubs and group locations
