About the role
In your role as Security Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for protecting our organisation’s assets. As a key part of our security team, you'll be the first to know about security threats and be prepared to respond quickly. You'll ensure we have the visibility needed to protect the company and our customers’ data. You'll be building our strategy, enhancing our capabilities, and managing relationships with our external partners.
How you embrace curiosity daily
- You'll develop and own the security operations strategy to protect our organisation.
- You'll own and deliver the security operations backlog and KPIs.
- You'll maintain and improve our incident case management and response processes.
- You'll coordinate incident response exercises with senior leaders.
- You'll implement and maintain threat detection and response capabilities across all of our systems.
- You'll conduct threat intelligence analysis and report on emerging risks.
How you make your mark
- You'll protect the treasured moments our customers have captured in their photo products.
- You'll drive continuous improvement in our vulnerability management program.
- You'll build trusted relationships with technology partners and internal teams.
- You'll collaborate with product and engineering teams to identify and mitigate risks in our products.
- You'll lead security awareness and education initiatives across the business.
- You'll mentor and support a direct report within the security function.
What you bring to the team
- Extensive experience in cybersecurity, ideally within a large, consumer-focused organisation.
- A proven track record in security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management.
- Hands-on expertise with EDR, SOAR tooling, and SASE/SSE technologies.
- Deep familiarity with frameworks like NIST and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
- The ability to translate complex technical risks into clear business impact.
- Prior experience mentoring or managing team members.
What sets you apart
- Certifications like GIAC Security Operations Certified (GSOC) or CISSP.
- Experience working in e-commerce or manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to AWS or other public cloud platforms.
