The internet has introduced revolutionary new methods of developing and distributing creative work: endless remixing, participatory franchises, and AI-generated content. Our mission is to unleash the creativity of the internet by building the native IP infrastructure layer of the web. Our open IP repository enables creative IPs — prose, images, audio, and more — to record their evolutionary journey from inception through the endless combinatorics of digital co-creation. Beyond tracking the provenance and attribution of IP as it grows, we also provide modules that power frictionless composability, allowing anyone to contribute to an IP and to capture the value of that contribution.

The Role
The Head of Marketing will report directly to the Co-Founders and collaborate closely with the heads of product, engineering, design, and ecosystem departments. We are looking for a candidate with outstanding technical expertise, organizational skills, and operational excellence. This role focuses on executing flawlessly and driving awareness to position our intellectual property as the next major innovation in crypto, beyond finance.
The ideal candidate will excel in social marketing, experiential marketing, PR, and communications, strategically leveraging our resources to amplify our brand. They will have a proven track record in developing and implementing effective marketing strategies, managing brand identity, putting on high-quality events from concept to completion, utilizing social media and content marketing, and mobilizing a network of influential key opinion leaders (KOLs). This individual will act as a conductor, operationalizing and mobilizing all aspects of our marketing efforts and our high-performing team to lead the entire industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives, emphasizing practical execution and rapid iteration.
- Maintain and enhance our brand's identity and voice across all platforms, ensuring consistent messaging and visual branding in all external communications.
- Oversee our social media strategy and lead content marketing efforts, creating and distributing relevant, valuable, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of high-quality events from concept to completion.
- Identify and build relationships with KOLs in the crypto space, ensuring we maintain a strong industry presence.
- Lead PR and event management efforts, identifying strategic activation opportunities to drive awareness and establish our brand as an industry leader.
- Drive social/influencer marketing, experiential marketing, PR, and communications with tactical thinking to effectively leverage our resources.
- Operationalize and amplify every aspect of the marketing strategy, ensuring smooth execution across departments.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in general marketing and content strategy.
- Ability to drive marketing operations holistically, coordinating and mobilizing resources to achieve a comprehensive operational vision.
- Passion for the crypto space, with an eagerness to build, and manage relationships within the community.
- Strong writing skills and experience with both short and long-form content.
- Ability to strategize and execute as an individual contributor while managing and growing a team over time.
- A creative mind that can work with designers and understand the creative pipeline and process management system.
- Experience in event design and management.
- Technical and organizational excellence, with a focus on influencer marketing and new growth channels.
- Ability to get hands dirty in a small, nimble marketing organization.
