StraighterLine is seeking a highly motivated, hardworking individual to work in our Student Success Department as a Part-Time Transcript Processing Specialist to work in a remote setting.  This position is responsible for handling incoming transcript requests from students, verifying the accuracy and completeness of information in the student account prior to processing, researching and updating student account information, confirming the accuracy of target college addresses on file, printing, folding, stamp, and submit transcripts electronically or drop off via USPS Postal Mail. This is a Part-Time remote position that will require the individual to work Monday thru Friday (10 am-3 pm), at an hourly rate of $13.00 per hour.

Goals of the Position:

    • Provide high attention to detail and strive for 100% accuracy in reviewing, processing, printing, folding, stamping, and mailing incoming transcript requests, within the 24-48-hour service level acceptance criteria
    • Email students as account updates are required for processing transcripts due to errors or missing information
    • Complete all transcript work by end of the day during peak season, minimizing and clearing backlog into the next day
    • Identify and recommend process improvements as needed to complete work in a timely and efficient manner

The Ideal Candidate Must:

    • Have the ability to focus on a series of guided tasks following defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) without deviation 
    • Be able and willing to work in a role that requires processing repetitive tasks with zero tolerance for errors
    • Be able to work independently or part of a team
    • Be comfortable working in a remote office setting operating computer equipment free from distractions 
    • Be able to manage email correspondence, using templates corresponding to student/customers regarding requests
    • Have a basic understanding of navigating desktop computers, office equipment, and computer systems including printers, scanners/fax

Education and Experience:

    • High school diploma, or equivalent, with some college-level experience recommended
    • At least two years of administrative, clerical, data entry computer experience
    • Basic Windows Operating System, MS Office, Google Applications (Gmail, google docs/sheets, etc.)
