Account Executive - Employer Partnerships

About the role:
Stride is on a mission to create economic security for everyone who works for themselves. We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Account Executive to build and strengthen partnerships with even more companies that have large communities of independent workers.
Grow the number of companies using The Stride Benefits Platform
What you’ll get to do every day:
Build partnerships that bring Stride’s products to communities of independent workers
Independently identify and prioritize new target partners and initiate new relationships.
Manage a partner pipeline and influence cross-functional alignment around it.
Pitch Stride’s expanding suite to secure new relationships and strengthen existing partnerships
Manage negotiation & contracting process for your pipeline, and influence cross-functional support behind deals.
Influence and shape our value proposition that we present to partners
Guide partners and internal cross-functional teams through the successful implementation and technical integrations to bringing Stride’s products to their communities
Identify opportunities to expand current partnerships and improve activation by their communities by influencing marketing campaigns.
Recipe for Success:
2-5 years experience managing strategic partnerships at a consumer internet company
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong presentation skills
Ability to articulate and present our value proposition to target partners
Ability to systematically prioritize target accounts
Strong research skills and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to learn about prospective partners or our industry
Ability to develop pitch decks and use data to strengthen our value proposition
Proven ability to advance discussions and close deals
Flexibility to travel frequently for relationship development

Experience building strategic partnerships with on-demand / gig economy platforms
Experience working with benefits products and platforms
Experience working for a startup during its growth inflection phase
