ABOUT US
Hi, we’re Strider!
We are founded by a team of humans who have worked within entertainment and games for decades, and we have a lot of thoughts. During our time within these worlds, we’ve come to realize the creative process is broken. This has sparked a desire to shake things up and bring new opportunities to creators and their communities.
With these thoughts in mind, it helped us form some of our core beliefs:
- Having a creative career should suck less and be more fun and rewarding.
- In the entertainment and games industries, too few wield too much power. Disruption is long overdue.
- Risk-averse execs committed to the status quo stifle inclusiveness and the diversity of ideas.
- People deserve to own and profit from their great ideas.
- Pay should be fair and transparent.
- Making stuff can feel more like a game and less like a grind.
- Capybaras are amazing creatures who bring chill relaxation wherever they roam.
OUR GOAL
To harness the creative power of communities to be productive together, with new, transparent ways of getting everybody compensated for their efforts.
We strive to fulfill our mission through the launch and support of our platform which supports the growth of creative communities that build new IP together. Inside these collaborative communities, ideas will be born, flourish and grow; this process will be augmented by all types of professionals from artists and writers to engineers and community managers.
THE NEW GAME STUDIO
In partnership with a major online community, Treasure DAO, we are building a brand new studio from the ground up! TreasureDAO is one of the largest web3 ecosystems, with a thriving community, dozens of projects, and grounded leadership planning for long-term growth. Beyond the excitement of building a new game studio, it is most important that we are creating a unique and fun world-class game (and hopefully many more) that can be enjoyed by all. The game will be based on the Smolverse IP, which has an excited, active community. Our goal is to give the game team maximum autonomy, upside, and ownership of the destiny of the game and studio as possible.
*Please note, this position will be hired through the new game studio that is funded by our partner, Treasure DAO. Though this role will initially work with Strider, this position will not be employed officially by Strider.
