The role will provide development, guidance, reporting and assurance of STRYDE Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ) Management programs while maintaining relations with key stakeholders within these programs. The role will also support customer HSSE requirements and a key responsibility is management of the SRYDE Emergency Response Management process. 
 

What you will do

    • Ensure all Health, Safety, Security and Environmental Risks are assessed with clear identification of mitigation and prevention barriers and to provide guidance where barriers require to be strengthened. 
    • Own the overall STRYDE HSSEQ Management System and be responsible for content development for all HSSE related aspects such as, emergency response, incident reporting and investigation, safety policies on transport and higher risk activities. 
    • Provide HSSEQ guidance and advice for all business functions 
    • Produce regular HSSEQ reports for management and shareholders. 
    • Record and investigate HSSE events such as near misses and actual incidents 
    • Provide HSSE and Quality assurance audits and risk assessments for all STRYDE functions 
    • Support the Leadership Team with HSSEQ advise on tactical or strategic topics as needed 
    • Drive and develop the HSSEQ culture in STRYDE 

Who we are looking for:

    • Extensive field experience in international onshore seismic operations, spanning a variety of locations and terrains  
    • Ideally experience with  warehouse operations  
    • A candidate who has potential for a senior operational management role in the company. 
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
    • Has the following safety-related competencies: 
    • Development and management of safety standards for personal safety, transportation safety and environmental compliance  
    • Risk assessment 
    • Investigation 
    • Audit 
    • Comfortable working with little to no supervision.  
    • Preferable has experience in internationally accredited management systems such as ISO9001 
    • A technical graduate with a recognised qualification in safety management (such as Nebosh)
