Role Overview
As Sales Manager for the Middle East and North Africa region, you will know how to analyse the local market, make new connections and build an established network of industry contacts. Working closely with a highly experienced head of business development the suitable candidate will ideally bring an existing network, however, this will not be critical for your success, we are looking for an entrepreneurial self-starter, with a sharp sales focus. STRYDE has big plans to disrupt the established MENA market with a game-changing technology, regional knowledge and enthusiasm to promote change will be key to succeeding in this role.
What you will do:
- Identify the client base and build client profiles to help define, develop and execute a strategy to sell to new customers.
- Provide insight into how the STRYDE global brand strategy can be enhanced for the regional market.
- Influence customers and partners' business decisions.
- Work with Marketing to provide content and customer success stories.
- Make connections and promote our technology to our customer’s customers.
- Prepare customer proposals and participate in the full sales process.
- Build and manage a portfolio of clients, working in partnership with the MENA Head of BDM
- Understand the competitive landscape and report market intel to the Commercial team.
- Act as a brand ambassador - attend conferences, exhibitions and events where you advocate for STRYDE
Who we're looking for
- Innovative, disruptive and entrepreneurial thinker.
- The ability to apply a consultative selling approach.
- Demonstrable selling experience in a technical B2B domain.
- An enthusiastic negotiator – you may be still refining your negotiating skills, but you are keen to apply your learnings.
- Willingness to travel – sometimes at short notice.
- Any experience with product demonstrations in either the field or an office environment would be a plus.
- Speaks fluent English (other languages beneficial).
- Experience within oil & gas markets is beneficial but not essential.
- Knowledge of Salesforce and/or Hubspot is helpful.
