The Senior Director, Business Development and Platform Growth will be instrumental in generating new revenue opportunities across business lines including Talent, Content Publishing, Channel Strategy, and more. The role involves a mix of managing existing partnerships as well as expanding revenue streams through prospecting, contract negotiation/execution, fulfillment, and enforcing contractual obligations.
 
Sample Duties: 
·         Build lasting distribution partnerships with major media platforms 
·         Manage select existing relationships with revenue-generating entities
·         Structure deals to further monetize existing content for Studio71 creators
·         Structure deals to create exclusive content for individual platforms
·         Partner with international platforms for distribution of localized content
 
Essential Skills & Experience:
·         5+ years’ experience in business development, partnerships, distribution at a digital video company
·         BA in business, economics or relevant field required, MBA preferred
·         Experience negotiating global licensing deals in the digital video space
·         Deep knowledge of video distribution platforms and recent developments in the digital space
·         General understanding of technical aspects of digital video delivery (such as MRSS feeds) and ad-serving
·         Passion for the short-form content business and digital business strategy
