·Support all day to day accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, taxation, general ledger, cash flow and revenue recognition
·Ensure all accounting records are appropriately kept and our results comply with IFRS accounting standards and legislation
·Ensure we fulfil our month end close obligations including the upload of all financial information to our investors, including monthly results, taxation and IFRS 16 leasing requirements.
·Oversee the preparation of monthly financial management reports with commentary to communicate key trends and performance
·Manage and maintain our royalty accounting entries to ensure our key talent are paid the correct amounts and are paid on time every month.
·Manage and forecast cash-flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing reports
·Partner and work closely with the wider business to understand current financial performance and identify risks/opportunities.
·Oversee monthly reconciliations on key balance sheet and profit & loss items.
·Review the transactional work, including journals to ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
·Support the submission and completion of our local and federal tax obligations
·Act as an approver, and where necessary preparer for our cash management processes
·Co-ordinate, with the assistance of the wider finance team, the statutory audit
·Oversee the preparation of the budget, forecast, estimate and associated reporting
·Create financial models and undertake analysis to understand financial performance, opportunities and risks across the business
·Maintain a resilient financial control environment and continuously drive improvements to all systems that have a financial impact or influence.
·Lead various ad-hoc financial projects as we respond to growth
·Supervise and manage the on-going professional development of the junior finance team members
·Report directly to the SVP Finance & Accounting

·CPA Qualified (minimum 2+ years post qualified)
·Prior experience as a Financial Controller or equivalent (may be suitable for a Finance Manager looking to step up)
·Media, royalty and production experience (preferred)
·Large business experience (required)
·Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate to colleagues at all levels
·An active team player with strong organisational and project management skills
·High integrity and capable of managing confidential information
·Desire to work in dynamic, fast paced, high growth environment
·Understanding of US tax rulings (required)
·Previous experience working with Salesforce, Great Plains, SAP (preferred)
