Our Manager, Channel Strategy works with the Channel Strategy team to manage relationships and oversee the day-to-day operations of the department’s client portfolio. The position will supervise YouTube/TIkTok accounts with significant scope, must be able to effectively drive cross-platform strategy, and identify how to reach the right audiences through utilizing different content formats and platforms.
·Manage client relationships while establishing open and effective channels of communication
·Create YouTube/TikTok channel management proposals for Channel Strategy clients, and oversee their implementation
·Running client meetings and delivering presentations as needed
·Work with internal Studio71 teams on creative ideation, production, and cross-platform distribution of original digital content
·Oversee aspects of video content execution across multiple platforms, including post copy, coordinating with the graphic design team, managing the approvals process, optimizing scheduling/publishing calendar, and engagement monitoring
·Reporting analytics for branded YouTube channels, including analysis on audience growth and demographics, video view performance, advertising revenue and ad performance
·Conduct experiments to identify effective new strategies, optimization opportunities and tracking ongoing audience trends
What you bring to the role
·Deep understanding of all YouTube optimization best practices including on videos, playlists and the channel homepage
·Profound experience in reviewing and drawing conclusions from YouTube analytics
·Previous experience working directly with talent
·Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
·Deep understanding of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter best practices related to audience growth
·Passion about platforms like YouTube and TIkTok and their native creators
·Proficiency in PowerPoint, Photoshop, VidIQ, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Dropbox and Outlook
·YouTube and Facebook certification (ideally)
·Demonstrable knowledge of the YouTube ecosystem (creators, talent, MCNs, verticals, etc.); particularly how music is distributed on YouTube
·3+ years experience managing or developing a YouTube channel, including managing content upload, audience development, advertising performance, reporting & analytics
·Experience using data analytics to deliver insights on digital marketing campaigns and online advertising performance
·Digital audience development experience, building audiences for online content through social media, digital marketing campaigns, online PR, SEM, publisher syndication
·Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multitask without compromising attention to detail.
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Proven ability to manage multiple clients
· Experience with Tubular and Shareablee a plus
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook, specifically)
