Position Summary: 
The Business Development Manager will support all aspects of Studio71’s Business Development, content programming and delivery initiatives. You will manage a variety of operational and content/ metadata deliverables across a growing team, along with various aspects of talent and content curation process with the intent to maximize revenue and audience growth on various content platforms. You will also manage programming strategy in collaboration with the wider Business Development team on Studio71’s channels across social video and distribution platform partners such as Roku, Pluto, Vizio and Samsung, and have visibility into all aspects of the Business Development process. Finally, as you grow in this role, you may be asked to identify and shepherd new potential platform partners, refine material deal points with new and existing partners and assist the Business Development team in executing deals that add revenue to the Company.
 
Responsibilities: 
-The position is located in our LA office currently on a remote-first basis; in-office attendance is optional 
-Manage Studio71’s content programming and metadata delivery processes across Roku, Pluto, Vizio, Samsung and others on behalf of the Business Development team and in order to grow revenues
-Establish new processes and workflows in collaboration with various internal teams (e.g., S71 Tech) to facilitate efficient relationships with external partners (e.g., Roku)
-Utilize excellent attention to detail plus organizational, improvisational and follow-up skills to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
-Responsible for the day-to-day management of content pipelines and working cross-functionally across departments and some 3rd party service providers (e.g., content editors) to ensure timeliness and high quality deliverables 
-Curate talent and content across Studio71’s portfolio according to shared guidelines and platform specifications   
-Prepare and review content for said platforms (including working with S71 internal teams for the design and organization of artwork, metadata, and uploading of assets)
-Aggregate and review reporting metrics across platforms to advise team on content planning 
-Create and edit metadata template documents and reports by collecting and analyzing information for various platforms
 
Qualifications: 
-2+ years relevant work experience in digital media content or a fast-moving startup environment
-Prior experience in the editing process, post-production, content QC and/or delivering content and metadata to various platforms
-Must be a detail-oriented self-starter with a bias for action
-Must have strong organizational skills
-Must be able to multitask and take ownership of projects independently 
-Strong problem-solving and improvisational skills; ability to analyze issues, create appropriate tactical plans and generate financial analyses 
-Microsoft suite proficient (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
