What we're looking for
Stytch is the platform for user authentication. We make it simple for developers to build complex, passwordless authentication flows in minutes. As our first business operations hire, you’ll work alongside the co-founders on the evolving set of critical business functions at Stytch.

At an early-stage startup, priorities can evolve on a monthly or even weekly basis -- you’ll learn about and contribute to every facet of a young company’s growth, including go-to-market strategy, internal operations, fundraising, recruiting, etc.

What Excites You

    • Learning new skills in a fast paced environment
    • Shaping the culture and growing the team through recruiting, mentorship, and establishing best practices
    • A collaborative environment with a tight feedback loop
    • Solving problems with pragmatic solutions — you know when to make trade offs between navigating complexity and quickly implementing an interim solution
    • Bringing structure and process to undefined problem spaces
    • Digging through data to drive insights about our product performance and product strategy

What Excites Us

    • A strong business generalist and excited to learn more about product
    • Able to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels
    • Desire to get (more) technical and learn more about Stytch’s APIs
    • Excitement to work in a high-growth environment and to help build processes and tools as needed
    • A high degree of intellectual curiosity
    • 2+ years in a management consulting, investment banking, or business analyst role
    • Strong understanding of SQL / Excel / Financial analysis

You Might

    • Build business intelligence dashboards to help us understand the health of our product
    • Work with the co-founders to set financial and product targets for the business
    • Standardize and uplevel our recruiting processes
    • Work with our accounting team to support our monthly financial close
    • Create the marketing campaign for our first product launch
    • Select a space for our new office

What Success Looks Like

    • Ownership — advocate for projects and processes that you believe in and help us bring those solutions to life
    • Prioritization — fully immerse yourself in the ins and outs of Stytch’s business to understand what’s most critical today and what can wait until tomorrow
    • Communication -- you are a strong communicator with exceptional organization skills
    • Jack of all trades -- you can execute rapidly on multiple dimensions and are just as happy conducting market research as you are finding us a new office lease
