Summersalt is looking for an Apparel Product Development Intern (Centric Product Lifecycle Management) to support the Product Development Team and Product Lifecycle Management System Specialist. This individual will take on day-to-day tasks that involve system data management, troubleshooting, and process enhancement.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

    • Assist in the maintenance of the Product Lifecycle Management System.
    • Aid in the creation and maintenance of product documentation, including new style builds, supplier requests/quotes and purchase orders.
    • Sit in on fittings and garment evaluations.
    • Support data entry, validation, and management within Product Lifecycle Management for the Product Development Team. 
    • Entering target financial data and assigning supplier quotes to SKUs.  
    • Entering show & tell data and ensuring accurate information on time.
    • Troubleshoot Product Lifecycle Management System issues with the Product Lifecycle Management Specialist as they come through slack and email. 
    • Support ad-hoc projects and tasks related to Product Lifecycle Management and Product Development as assigned by the supervisor.
    • Assist in timeline management and calendar creation within the Product Lifecycle Management System.
    • Contribute to the development and improvement of Product Lifecycle Management processes and workflows.
    • Assist in quality control inspections of Top of Production samples.
    • Participate in Product Lifecycle Management System training sessions for users across various departments.
    • Support in sourcing materials and trims for product samples as needed.

ABOUT YOU:

    • Currently enrolled and attending an accredited college/university studying Product Development with an interest in system management. 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies (especially in the SaaS area) and processes.
    • Strong organizational skills and excellent follow-through.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Google Suite. 
    • Flexible to changing demands with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced business environment.
    • Ability to proactively manage issues and problem solve.
    • Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and interpersonal.
