The Senior Manager, Integrated Marketing Position

Sunnova Energy is searching for a marketing leader to drive our integrated marketing
campaigns and take our paid media capabilities to the next level.
 
This individual will drive the end-to-end planning, development, execution, and performance reporting of strategic, multi-channel campaigns and key initiatives on Sunnova’s marketing calendar.  This position will lead cross-functional teams including
the Brand, Product, Marketing, Legal & Operational teams to ensure all critical
deliverables including, but not limited to, the marketing and creative briefs, audience
lists, campaign project plans, testing plans, and creative deliverables and assets are
coordinated, developed, and executed on strategy and on time.
 
Furthermore, this position partners with members of the Web & Digital Marketing Team,
IT, and vendor partners to lead cross-functional, strategic initiatives that will advance
our onment, integrate platforms on our MarTech roadmap, and activate
capabilities such as more real-time content and geo-based personalization, multi-channel interactions, cross-platform data integrations, regulatory and/or legal
compliance features and more

Responsibilities

    • Manages and drives daily search engine marketing (SEM)/pay per click (PPC), social, display, and video performance optimizations in various digital ad platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Facebook/Instagram Ad Manager, Google Display Network, YouTube, Google Analytics, and more.
    • Maintains and monitors keyword bids, daily and monthly budget levels, and key campaign metrics such as impressions, CPMs, clicks, click-through rates (CTR), cost per click (CPC), conversions, cost per lead (CPL), cost per acquisition (CPA) and more.
    • Oversees and implements the design and structure of paid accounts, campaigns, ad groups/ad sets, ads, keywords.  Also, manages tag/pixel implementation, audience lists, and A/B testing.
    • Manages agency and advertising vendor performance. Media buys and channels include offline tactics such as direct mail, radio, billboard, and more.
    • Optimizes the portfolio of 3rd party lead vendor relationships to ensure both volume and quality of leads that convert into sales. Balance the mix of leads generated from in-house marketing paid campaigns vs. 3rd party lead vendors.
    • Defines and proposes marketing strategies for all key audiences across prospects and existing customers to drive growth and the ideal customer experience.
    • Manages campaigns on the marketing calendar: Communicates marketing and creative brief requirements such as campaign goals, key performance indicators, campaign start & end dates, targeted segments, single main idea, marketing channel strategies, creative deliverables, and more.
    • Ensures alignment to the marketing brief campaign goals and KPIs as well as coordination and collaboration across the Brand, Product, Marketing, translation agencies, and other teams in the development and execution of integrated campaigns.
    • Reviews creative deliverables and copy for message consistency across all channels (web, email, paid/organic search, paid/organic social, display, direct mail, SMS, online video, and more), alignment to the marketing brief, and their effectiveness in connecting with or emotionally moving consumers.
    • Builds campaign performance reporting and plans A/B tests around audiences, offers, messages, timing, frequency and more.  Summarizes insights and results for knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
    • Proposes and helps to gain approval for promotional incentives and offers by product ,market, audience, etc.
    • Conducts data analysis and develops insights based on campaign and marketing funnel results; recommends adjustments to the marketing calendar, audiences, messaging, and marketing channels to drive lead and sales volumes, cashflows ,system activations, and lower calls to customer care.
    • Leads quarterly marketing performance reviews(QBRs)to drive internal awareness on business results, wins, opportunities and insights with Executive Leadership and across the Marketing Teams.

Minimum Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on marketing ,business, or communications
    • 10-15 years total experience, with 7+yearsof hands-on implementation, management, and optimization of multi-channel, paid media campaigns across various digital ad platforms.
    • Strong communication skills. Solid presentation and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to clearly and succinctly articulate insights, learnings & actions plans.
    • Excellent ability to think creatively, identify/resolve problems, and achieve growth targets consistently.
    • Start-up mentality and entrepreneurial mindset. Ability to effectively multi-task and execute in a fast-paced, dynamic-driven
    • Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

    • 3-5+years’experienceintheresidential solar and storage market
    • Experience with both direct-to-consumer and channel marketing (support to dealer and/or homebuilder sales)
    • Knowledge or prior experience with any of the following platforms: Salesforce, Facebook, Google Analytics, Google and Bing Ads, or Marketing Cloud (email metrics)
