SunPower is seeking an Accountant, Asset Management Services Accounting Team based in the Philippines. The Junior Accountant reports to the Asset Management Services Lead Accountant and will be responsible for providing full accounting support for Asset Management Services Accounting and has primary ownership of providing critical financial services such as accounting support for the Residential and Commercial solar energy companies, month-end and quarter-end closing processes, financial statement preparation, and supporting audit requests. The role includes interfacing with operations, tax, funding, and other teams as needed to fulfill job responsibilities. 


    • Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
    • Prepare account reconciliations according to company guidelines.
    • Ensures strong accounting processes for residential lease programs and facilities.
    • Assist the team lead and manager with monthly/quarterly requirements & timely completion of account reconciliations, journal entries, calculations, etc.
    • Provide support for various account flux analyses needed for quarterly BOD meetings.
    • Provide support for Interim and Year-end Audit requirements.
    • Provide analytical support for business decisions and participate in/lead special projects and process improvement initiatives for the group.
    • Other finance and audit duties as assigned.


    • Graduate of BS Accountancy, preferably a CPA
    • Basic GAAP accounting knowledge
    • With 1-3 years of working experience in Lease Accounting and other related accounting activities
    • Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley processes and documentation
    • Able to handle multiple projects with the ability to budget time productively
    • Strong Excel skills, especially graphing, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, and converting Non-Excel data to Excel
    • Can work well at different levels of the organization
    • Good written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

    • This is an FTE position.
    • Candidate must be willing to work in Binan Laguna
    • Candidate must be legally entitled to work and reside in the Philippines.
    • Candidate must be willing to render overtime as business requires (weekends, US/PH holidays)
    • Candidate must be flexible to work on a night shift schedule supporting North America region.
    • Candidate will be on flexible work arrangement (combination of onsite and remote work) (if applicable depending on the nature of the job)
    • Tool of Trade: Laptop/Desktop, Extended Monitor, Headset (as needed)
