Role:
The Product Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing the development and distribution process of products, ensuring timelines, quality standards, and project goals are met. They act as the pivotal link between different departments such as design, manufacturing, marketing, and sales to facilitate smooth communication and workflow. Additionally, the Product Coordinator analyzes market trends and customer feedback to suggest improvements, helping to align the products more closely with consumer needs and company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Act as a driving force for the necessary change to achieve Sunrise Farms’ strategic goals
- Attend sales meetings to gather insights on objectives and promotions, manage and update vendor information
- Assist the sales team in achieving sales targets by ensuring execution of negotiated agreements
- Collaborate with corporate purchasing to refresh vendor catalogues
- Work alongside operations to manage inventory effectively, addressing any supplier issues
- Contribute to team success through project participation and by achieving related results
- Facilitate daily customer interactions and support by coordinating with sales, customer service, and contracting
- Preparing and coordinating sample disbursement
- Participate and prepare products for culinary testing
- Product management on tasks such as price quotes, contract management, and account planning
- Coordinate with customers for presentations and product testing
- Engage in cross-functional partnerships to meet comprehensive customer needs, encompassing sales, marketing, and supply chain activities
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, food science or a related field is preferred
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related area
- Strong proficiency in office productivity software, including Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel
- Excellent communication abilities are required for engaging with customers, senior management, and peers
- Experience with costing is considered a plus

$81,000 - $81,000 a year
