Essential Functions

    • Drive sales activities focused primarily in the Mobile On-Hwy market analyzing marketing strategies to identify new opportunities.
    • Promoting new and innovative product lines specifically for On-Highway market .
    • Implement communication strategies to build and maintain positive and consistent branding in the marketplace for SunSource in the On-Highway market.
    • Provide consistent and timely information to Management and employees through various communication programs, including weekly and monthly sales reports and calls.
    • Collaborate with Management to create and implement an internal marketing plan to promote commercial insights, tools, training, and resources to enhance sales productivity, including industry overviews, success stories, digital tools, product deep-dives, Mobile Sales blitzes and specific sales calls dedicated to the Mobile Market across North America.
    • Design, implement and oversee external campaigns to promote SunSource’s fluid power products and services, build brand awareness, and generate leads.
    • Employ integrated and multi-channel approach across traditional print collateral and sell sheets, video, social media, physical trade shows, and industry events.
    • Partner with strategic market contacts to identify, quantify and target key customer segments, and implement data-driven sales strategies.
    • Establish and continue targeted customer and industry partnership Initiative networks.
    • Monitoring key marketing metrics and assist Management in developing market segmentation models.
    • Performing competitor analysis toward our On-Hwy market initiatives
    • Improve customer relationships using a technical viewpoint.
    • Manage a minimum of 8 in person calls per month promoting our On-Highway products. 
    • Help support and plan our monthly Mobile sales blitz activities and product launches. Including Blitz preparation calls with Sales team.
    • Some overnight travel will be required.  

Experience, Education and Skills

    • 2-year technical degree OR bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred
    • 3+ years of experience of On-highway Truck experience, working with Power Take-Offs (PTO’s) including gear pump systems.
    • Demonstrate a basic understanding of mobile On-Highway hydraulic / pneumatic systems and solutions within the commercial vehicle industry. 
    • The ability to read and interpret schematics, analyze customer needs, and write technical sales quotes.
    • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong computer skills including use of MS Suite of office products and CRM applications. 
    • Valid Driver’s License
