About this role

As People & Culture Intern, you will support the People team with key HR functions such as employee onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, data integrity, and various HR programs such as DE&I, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Social & Wellness initiatives. You will assist in maintaining communication with employees, provide administrative support to the HR team members, and contribute to promoting a healthy, inclusive, and productive organizational culture.

Responsabilities

    • Support the onboarding process for new hires by setting up HRIS profiles, completing new hire scheduling, and coordinating orientation logistics.
    • Assist with off-boarding processes by tracking company property returns and assisting with exit procedures.
    • Assist in maintaining employee records including HRIS updates and employee documentation, learning compliance requirements, and adhering to confidentiality protocols.
    • Contribute to company programs such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Wellness initiatives by providing administrative support
    • Manage our People Team inbox and Slack channel, including answering inquiries and connecting employees with the right People Team member to support.
    • Support the Manager, P&C in key programs such as Performance Evaluations, surveys, and participating in the Joint Health and Safety Committee
    • Support the creation of HR reports by gathering data on employee metrics
    • Assist with the implementation of HR projects and initiatives, as needed

Preferred Experience

    • Strong organizational and time management skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Nice to Have

    • Work experience in Human Resources
    • CHRP designation
$23.50 - $29 an hour
