Superpedestrian is looking for a Fleet Manager who will oversee all maintenance & repairs, maintain the charging rooms, organize the charged/discharged fleet in agreement with the field operator's staff.  This role will also serve as an interface between our technical engineering team and our field Operations Manager. You should have experience taking apart and fixing mechanical assemblies, using software tools to monitor vehicle health, as well as creating processes and procedures for completing repairs and collecting data.

What you'll do:

    • Assist in the assembly, quality control, and deployment of scooters as they're built.
    • Perform routine maintenance and on-demand repairs on all scooters in the fleet.
    • Actively monitor the fleet in our systems and assist in despatching.
    • Work closely with the hq-based repair operations manager to learn Link software tools in order to diagnose vehicle problems and develop procedures for field repair.
    • Collect and document feedback and failures from mechanics on the ground and collaborate with repair operations managers to drive solutions.
    • Manage parts inventory system to ensure that our local operations facility has a supply of needed parts and supplies at all times.
    • Travelling and supporting multiple cities (Bourdeaux, Perpignan)

Who you are:

    • A technical background is preferred with at least 4 years of relevant work experience.
    • Previous shop experience required, experience as a service manager, lead shop mechanic, or fleet mechanic preferred. Ability to interpret mechanical drawings.
    • Tech-savvy, with the ability to document and communicate software bugs.
    • Must be able to lift scooters 20+ times per shift without assistance.
    • Self-starter and with good organizational skills.
    • Experienced with google spreadsheets (excel, words).
    • Fluent in French and English.
    • Driving license.
    • Ability to travel 50% of the time
