Creative Operations Lead

Global
Delivery & Operations – Creative Excellence /
Contractor /
Remote
Superside is looking for a Creative Operations Lead to join our Creative Ops team. In this role, youʼll act as a systems builder, process optimizer, and strategic partner to ensure our creative delivery is efficient, scalable, and consistently high in quality.

Youʼll work closely with Sales, Project Managers, Creative Leads, and Leadership to improve how we quote work, manage expectations, deliver quality, and train our global team. From pricing structure to AI product rollouts, youʼll drive meaningful change across the creative lifecycle.

In this role, you will autonomously identify, analyze, and solve creative problems—even those we might not yet see. Youʼll drive improvements in our creative processes and empower our large, global team to produce high-quality work efficiently.

Reporting to the Creative Ops Director, you will be a key member of the Creative Ops department, responsible for increasing productivity and improving the consistency of our processes across the board.

The Role
We seek a results-driven Creative Ops Lead to optimize our end-to-end creative workflows, create accurate quotes and estimations and support with budget adherence. Youʼll own the project process from scoping and sales support to final delivery, ensuring every engagement is on time, on budget, and delivering high-quality results. Your experience in managing large-scale projects will be key to driving continuous improvement across our organization - and your ability to manage customer expectations will be critical for overall success.

Why This Role Matters
Weʼre launching new AI-based services, and need strong operational clarity to ensure customer expectations are realistic and quality stays high.
With a diverse, global team of 250+ creatives, we must coordinate across time zones, cultures, and skill sets.
We need a leader who can independently identify whether issues are isolated or systemic, and who can implement both quick fixes and broader strategic solutions.
Supporting sales with accurate budgets, quotes, and estimations is essential for ensuring our offerings are competitive and profitable.

What You'll Do

    • Sales & Budget Support
    • Partner with Sales to generate accurate project quotes, scopes, and budgets that reflect real effort and business goals.
    • Maintain and evolve costing models and pricing logic across services.
    • Support new product launches (including AI services) with quoting guidance, scope boundaries, and training materials.

    • Oversee Project Lifecycles
    • Audit and review projects from scoping to final delivery, ensuring alignment between promise and execution.
    • Help define clear specs for deliverables and own consistency across quoting tools, sales decks, and internal systems.
    • Clarify and simplify scope for both internal and external stakeholders.

    • Drive Operational Improvements
    • Identify broken or inefficient workflows and implement scalable solutions across services.
    • Help bridge gaps between delivery teams, sales, and product by introducing standards that enable faster, higher-quality work.
    • Collaborate with Creative teams to develop and maintain design templates (e.g., Figma, After Effects) that streamline repetitive tasks.
    • Collaborate with Tech and TPD to support calculator logic, integrations, and process automation.

    • Tooling and Technology Management
    • Own the end-to-end management of creative and operational tooling, including license oversight, administration, and renewal cycles.
    • Ensure the right tools are in place for quoting, project management, creative delivery, and AI workflows—aligning tooling strategy with business goals.
    • Monitor tool usage and adoption across global teams, identify under-utilized systems, and champion improvements to increase efficiency and value.
    • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement to drive cost-effective tooling decisions and streamline integrations into our creative stack.
    • Support training and onboarding related to tool usage, and ensure new services are backed by the right tooling infrastructure.

    • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Facilitate effective communication among designers, copywriters,
    • developers, sales reps, and leadership to ensure smooth project flow.
    • Act as a bridge between sales and production, ensuring client expectations are clearly communicated and met.

    • Mentor & Train Teams
    • Build and deliver training sessions (live or async) to improve creative quality and ensure quoting consistency across services
    • Support launches of new services (e.g., AI) with clear enablement materials that align Creative, Sales, and PM teams
    • Coach teams on scope clarity, complexity estimations, and process adoption

    • Client Relationship & Expectation Management
    • Act as a trusted operational partner to Sales, CSMs, Creative Leads, and senior leadership
    • Ensure changes to pricing, services, or deliverables are clearly communicated and implemented
    • Lead alignment efforts across multiple departments to reduce confusion and improve customer experience

What You'll Need to Succeed:

    • 4–7 years of experience in Creative Ops, Program Management, or similar roles in a creative/digital environment
    • Strong background in quoting, budgeting, and scope definition across creative workstreams
    • Experience supporting Sales and managing client expectations around timelines, pricing, and deliverables
    • Strong project management skills with a keen eye for efficiency, consistency, and risk mitigation
    • Confident communicator with experience managing up, across, and between creative and non-creative teams
    • Proficiency with project and creative tools (Figma, Adobe, Google Sheets, Airtable, Trello, etc.)
    • Comfortable building structured training programs, live enablement sessions, or documentation libraries
    • Data-driven mindset and a bias toward structured problem-solving

    • Nice-to-Haves:
    • Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization, Real-Time Marketing tools, or automation platforms.
    • Hands-on experience using Generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT, MidJourney) to streamline creative workflows.
