Position Summary
KIND seeks a Human Resources (HR) Coordinator to support the Human Resources, Business Partner (HRBP), Americas, Human Resources Team Leads and the whole HR function at KIND, helping to coordinate events, communications, projects and other activities across the team. They also provide key administrative support to the HR Team Leads. Working closely with their HR colleagues, the successful candidate is a highly motivated team player, a natural organizer, a critical thinker, an excellent writer and communicator, and a multi-tasker able to handle a varied workload. This position reports to the HRBP, Americas.
This a headquarters position based remotely from any location in the U.S.
Essential Functions
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment
- Partners with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop sourcing strategies.
- Utilizes job boards, social media, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and other sourcing tools to identify qualified candidates.
- Conducts initial outreach and screening calls to assess candidate qualifications and interest.
- Schedules interviews, coordinate logistics, and ensure timely communication with candidates.
- Maintains and updates candidate records in the ATS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
- Tracks sourcing metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline progress and sourcing effectiveness.
- Employee Experience
- Supports junior-level employee relations tasks, including notetaking during ER meetings, assisting with documentation, and maintaining confidential case records.
- Escalates employee relations concerns to the appropriate HR Business Partner or Manager.
- Assists with employer branding efforts and talent engagement campaigns.
- Projects
- Participates in HR project work, including process improvement initiatives, data audits, research assignments, and documentation development.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with HR and business teams to support project milestones and deliverables.
- Contributes to tracking and reporting on project timelines and progress.
- Follows up with project leads and action owners, as needed, to update the project plan each month.
- Prepares report-outs for Senior Leadership Team and HR meetings.
- Provides ad hoc support for HR projects, as needed, to support colleagues and meet deadlines.
- Carries out ad hoc research to support HR Leads and projects.
- On large-scale cross-team HR projects, acts as the conduit between different sub-teams to ensure collaboration and communication.
- Administrative Support
- Working with the HRBPs, provides administrative support with agendas and meetings.
- Provides other administrative support, as needed by the HRBPs and HR Leads, on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications and Requirement
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in providing administrative support in HR.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- ADP and Lever knowledge preferred.
- Experience in producing communications, presentations, reports, and similar.
- Experience in conducting and organizing research.
- Either project coordination or HR experience is a strong plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with staff at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple calendars and projects in a deadline-oriented environment with a keen orientation for detail.
- Able to work independently as well as a contributing member of a team.
- Excellent discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: experience in Adobe, Canva and other creative tools is a bonus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and multi-task in our KIND environment, managing numerous priorities and emerging opportunities.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects in a deadline-oriented environment; ability to prioritize tasks and delegate as appropriate.
- Ability to work effectively with people of diverse backgrounds, lived experiences, and communication styles.
- Demonstrate discipline and adaptability to effectively deliver on our core mission of ensuring access to justice and safeguarding children’s well-being and rights.
- Ability to multitask and work with a sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

- Experience working and communicating in a remote environment preferred but not required.
$46,968 - $58,710 a year
