What does a day in the life of a Talent Acquisition Specialist look like?

    • Responsible for scouting potential job matches using online sites to network and engage with people in certain professional backgrounds that would be a good match and coordinate with the Marketing Team to post ads where prospects would be likely to discover them.
    • Engages proficiently in candidate screening (phone and in-person), interviewing, and reference and background checks of shortlisted applicants
    • Partners with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
    • Communicates employer information and benefits during the screening process and maintains relationships with both internal and external clients using campaign ads and adverts
    • Send daily, weekly, and monthly report to immediate supervisor and related parties of the organization
    • Proposes potential projects in relation to recruitment-related internal and external marketing activations
    • Keeps abreast of the market best practices in recruitment and staffing, and implement appropriate best practices customized to SupportNinja’s needs
    • Updates and maintains all recruitment-related database in an organized manner
    • Understands, and interprets all marketing and recruitment-related data to come up with strategies for process improvement
    • Stays current on the company’s organizational structure, personnel policies, and relevant laws regarding employment practices
    • Develops and maintains relationships with industry professionals by attending industry networking and career development events to proactively recruit candidates.
    • Works with other administration departments for proper alignment of processes and attaining the overall company objectives set for the period in terms of employee ramp up and overall company strategies
    • Persuades and collaborates with department counterparts to meet deadlines and produce exceptional outcomes related to recruitment turnaround time and lead time processing
    • Actively attends and participate in recruitment-related meetings outside of the office
    • Provide administrative support to the recruitment team including assisting with maintaining recruitment unit files, accounts, trackers, templates, and guides
    • Perform other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications of a Talent Acquisition Specialist?

    • At least 1-2 years of Talent Acquisition or recruiting experience (mass hiring) in a BPO or Shared Services industry
    • At least 1-2 years conducting interviews
    • Above average communication skills both verbal and written
    • Good stakeholder management skills

Nice-to-have qualifications:

    • Certifications or training related to recruitment
    • Familiarity in end-to-end process in recruitment such as sourcing, screening, pre-onboarding
    • Familiarity in handling non-PH recruitment
