The Inbound Vendor Coordinator (IVC) will take inbound calls and make follow-up outbound calls as needed. As a member of the vendor onboarding team, the inbound vendor coordinator will be responsible for having conversations with inbound vendors who sign up for client for Vendors.

What does a day in the life as an Inbound Vendor Coordinator look like?

    • Managing the flow of incoming leads for the following categories:
    • a. Photographers
    • b. Caterers
    • c. Cakes & Desserts
    • d. Beauty Professionals
    • e. Videographers
    • f. Florists
    • g. Band/DJs
    • h. Wedding Planners
    • i. Venues
    • Efficient tracking of new sign-ups, logging of the sign-up in Salesforce, and passing the sign-up to the vendor onboarding team
    • Daily checks to ensure all sign-ups were tracked properly
    • Answering non-technical questions from vendors
    • Respond in a timely manner to any vendor who replies via email or schedules a call

What are the required qualifications for an Inbound Vendor Coordinator?

    • Ability to represent client and be the voice of the company and interact with vendors in a professional manner.
    • Ability to remain cool, calm, collected, and organized, even in times of high volume.
    • The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years professional experience in customer service, sales, retail, hospitality, event management, or a related industry.
    • Ability to empathize with our small business owners is a must.
    • Acute attention to detail.
    • Must have strong, friendly, upbeat verbal and written communication skills.
    • Must be able to learn new programs and system functions quickly
    • Experience working with CRM systems.
    • Can start ASAP

Nice-to-have qualifications:

    • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce and SalesLoft is a plus but not required
    • Understanding of vendor management and ecommerce
    • Understanding/Exposure to the wedding industry
