What does a day in the life of a Community Manager look like?

    • Conceptualize, plan, and execute engaging events and activities within the Discord server to encourage participation and foster a sense of community.
    • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to organize special events, such as game nights, Q&A sessions, contests, tournaments, and workshops.
    • Develop and implement event calendars to maintain a consistent schedule of activities, ensuring a variety of content to cater to diverse interests within the community.
    • Collaborate with moderators and volunteers to facilitate smooth event execution, including managing event channels, enforcing rules, and providing assistance to participants.
    • Monitor Discord channels regularly to maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all members, enforcing community guidelines and policies.
    • Review user-generated content, including messages, images, and links, to identify and address inappropriate or disruptive behavior promptly.
    • Respond to user inquiries, concerns, and reports in a timely and professional manner, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Work closely with the moderation team to develop and update moderation protocols, ensuring consistency and fairness in enforcement actions.
    • Actively engage with community members to build relationships, gather feedback, and understand their needs and preferences.
    • Foster a sense of belonging and camaraderie by facilitating discussions, encouraging collaboration, and recognizing contributions from community members.
    • Promote community-generated content, such as fan art, fan fiction, and user-generated events, to showcase the creativity and talent within the community.
    • Leverage social media platforms and other communication channels to promote Discord events, announcements, and community highlights.

What are the required qualifications of a Community Manager?

    • With at least 3 years of experience in Community Management and Content Moderation in Discord
    • With knowledge in Events Management in Discord, ideally someone who has organized events in discords
    • Creative
    • With understanding on how bots work
    • Can work ASAP to 2 weeks availability
    • Experience with design platforms, PicsArt or similar apps is a plus
    • Experience with social media
