The Loss Prevention Specialist is responsible for processing and analyzing data to help the organization  make informed business decisions. The position will also work closely with other departments to ensure data  accuracy and completeness

What does a day in the life as a Loss Prevention Specialist look like?

    • Collects, organizes, and processes sets of data from various sources
    • Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
    • Prepares and presents reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate data insights and  recommendations
    • Collaborates with other departments to ensure data accuracy and completeness
    • Maintains data integrity and security 
    • Continuously improves knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs  and continuous learning modules
    • Collaborates with other departments as needed to resolve customer issues
    • Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and colleagues at all times
    • Adheres to company policies and procedures
    • Meets or exceeds performance targets for related KPI’s
    • Performs other duties as assigned

What are the required qualifications for a Loss Prevention Specialist?

    • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in data processing, data analysis or related fields, preferably in a call center  environment
    • Minimum of 2 years experience investigating Loss Prevention situations in an e-commerce setting
    • Proficient in using computers and various software applications
    • Proficiency in data processing and analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, etc.
    • Must be familiar with Stripe for online payments
    • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
