Sure is looking for a competitive, driven, and experienced Business Development Representative to help continue building its exceptional base of partners. As a BDR, you will create and execute innovative strategies to identify prospects for Sureโ€™s Connect business unit. You will be the first point of contact for prospective partners and initiate exploratory outreach making a lasting impression throughout the entire sales cycle. As a subject matter expert for Connect, youโ€™ll understand and be able to clearly communicate our value to prospects. Your efforts will result in a full sales pipeline of partner verticals including real estate, automotive, financial services, and more. You will be reporting to the Director of Sales. 

What you'll be doing:

    • Lead all efforts to identify, evaluate, and manage opportunities with partners in various verticals.
    • Conduct a high volume of daily activity from calls and emails to scheduling meetings with members of the sales team.
    • Create new partner outreach processes using analytical thinking and trend identification skills.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage bottlenecks and identify opportunities that can drive growth for the business.
    • Utilize and continually improve processes and experiment with new and creative prospecting strategies to increase qualified leads and appointments.
    • Focus efforts on leads and opportunities that maximize business growth and retention.
    • Manage monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, use activity reporting and opportunity management via Salesforce and maintain a clean and organized pipeline.

What we're looking for:

    • 2+ years of experience creating and executing prospecting strategies that reach key decision makers (C-level, Business and Corporate Development, Marketing, IT, etc.).
    • Ability to build and maintain a network of relationships to help navigate complex situations.
    • Data-driven strategic thinking, high levels of creativity, flexibility and attention to detail.
    • Ability to flourish in a high-growth startup environment with ambiguity and work autonomously.
    • The desire and passion to grow within the company, and build a successful career in SaaS sales.
    • Exceptional and effective verbal and written communication skills (need strong writing skills).
    • Ability to prioritize and demonstrate relentless discipline in achieving goals.
    • Exceptional attention-to-detail and organizational skills.
    • Proven ability to influence others and willingness to roll-up your sleeves.
