We’re a startup called Incogni - a consumer privacy service that helps our customers remove their personal information from data brokers and people search sites. We are actively seeking for a Senior Node.js Developer to help us develop our cutting-edge cybersecurity product. If you want to:
- Build and maintain cybersecurity products that matters as well as create new ones;
- Focus on writing clear, tested, documented code that delivers real business value;
- Develop scalable back-end solutions;
- Contribute in generating new ideas and improving existing skills within the senior team.
And you can check off:
- 4+ years of professional experience in backend development using Node.js (Nest.js or similar frameworks);
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and their design principles;
- Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including database design and optimization;
- Experience with version control systems like Git and code collaboration tools (e.g., GitHub, GitLab);Experience with RabbitMQ and Redis;
- Understanding of microservices architecture and containerization with Docker;
- Write clean and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards;
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues;
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with PHP and Symfony or similar framework;
- Experience with web scraping;
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for deployment and hosting.
